"He told her: “We have been together for most of our lives. You cannot leave me alone now. I will make your life worth living in spite of your physical handicap.”
She replied: “That is a big promise.”
He said: “Have I ever let you down?”"

Being reading a lot of articles and watching documentaries on the tv. The things that we had taken granted for today was the result of his legacy.
I may not have lived in his era and know how hard life was before but I know my grandparents, esp my grandma is a great supporter of him. After reading these few days about him, I think he is really one great inspirational leader. And that SG is lucky to have him.
Thank you for giving us a roof over our head, clean water, good transport system, being educated and bilingual, having a safe and clean environment to live in and fought for a better SG with your team 50 years ago and built what SG is today #ThankYouLKY
May you found each other in heaven and rest in peace Sir. Your legacy will live and will always be remembered in our hearts.
